Teacher Jon: I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students for 20 years in Denver, Colorado. When I moved to Rock Island, I continued to work in schools, substitute teaching and working as a paraprofessional for special education classes. Now I am very happy to be working at Black Hawk College helping adults who did not finish school earn their GED.
